Meet The Team

Matthew is the director of envelope engineering and has over 14 years’ experience in the façade industry. Before establishing Envelope engineering, he led a team of more than 10 façade engineers at the Arup Sydney office.

Through this experience, he has gained extensive technical understanding for any given complex façade design and project.

Some key projects include the SICEEP development, Quay Quarter Tower, Wynyard Place and Western Sydney Airport.

With a strong engineering design background, Matthew brings significant hands-on experience of detailed façade design obtained through working for Arup, Arcadis and an international façade subcontractor. His wide experience as a façade specialist allows him to deal with all aspects of façade issues from structural design through to buildability, materials election, thermal performance and waterproofing.

Undram is the façade design practitioner of envelope engineering and has over 8 years’ experience in the façade industry. She has worked on diverse projects, ranging from Class 2 to Class 9 buildings, collaborating closely with builders and architects to ensure seamless integration and compliance with National Construction Code (NCC) requirements.

In her multifaceted role, Undram handles project management, structural calculations, and comprehensive condensation and thermal analysis. She excels in overseeing material compliance, conducting durability and compatibility checks, and implementing effective waterproofing measures. Undram’s commitment to engineering excellence is demonstrated through her active involvement in all project phases.

With a keen eye for detail, she thrives in dynamic environments, working alongside cross-functional teams to meet unique challenges and push the boundaries of façade engineering innovation.

Tania previously lead Arup’s façade team in Sydney. She has over 11 years’ experience in consulting and has worked on a vast range of projects both in Australia and internationally during her time in Arup’s London office. Well versed in managing technically challenging projects in diverse and multi-disciplinary teams, Tania consistently delivers high quality design intent that meets performance, environmental, budget and construction criteria.

Drawing upon the skills gained from her unique training in Civil Engineering and Architecture, Tania thrives in collaborative teams working towards a common goal. Her passion for materials, performance and sustainable design is what she brings to projects throughout their lifecycle, from initial design development, through to tender, during construction phase and beyond.
